It finaly happened, Febuary 17 2008 Abbie lost her first tooth. It took about 6months. Valentine’s weekend she went to McCall to visit my parents and it was about ready. I told her not to mess with it so when she got home we could get it out. We went to her school for a Kindergarten Math Party. Astrid Logan’s mom tryed, I tryed . After eating Abbie’s friend Sophie, her mom Deanne got Abbie to come sit by her. Abbie let her look in her month and Deanne just pulled that tooth right out!!( I guess with 6 kids you have some practice) I think Abbie was in shock she really didn’t notice the blood. We got home and had to write a letter to the Tooth Fairy. Stateing how hard she worked to get that tooth out. The Tooth Fairy left her 5 Gold Dollor Coins and stated in her letter to Abbie that the first tooth is special and she gives more for it. Five days later she lost her second one. She let me pull it out. The Tooth Fairy left one Gold Dollar Coin. It just showes you how fast she is growing…………
I know this is almost two months late but I don’t know how to add pictures.

It is amazing to me that it really doesn’t feel like it has been 6 years. I still remember when I tossed Robert the pee stick and was thinking it was negative again! And he looked at it and said “I think there is a light pink,” I grabbed it back. Then the tears came. It had happened… we were pregnant!
There is so much that has happened the last 6 years… She is getting so big. She is loving kindergarten. She is reading!!
We had a GREAT party at our new favorite place, Rafiki. She invited a couple of the kids from school, family and freinds they had fun running around and eating snacks and cake. I hoped to get a group picture but that didn’t happen. I got some when they all stopped to eat.
We got her 6year old pictures and family pictures.
Robert has them on the side of the blog under random pictures.
until next time

We almost didn’t make it to the pumpkin patch. Before we knew it, it was the Wednesday before Halloween. So we went to the Berry Patch. We took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. I think Abbie was overwhelmed by all the pumpkins to choose from.
There was a maze that Abbie and Robert made their way through, and some pigs, sheep and a couple of cows. A couple of years ago they had turkeys, the guy there said when it rains they are not smart enough to get out of the rain. So they lost a lot. Grandma says, “They look up at the rain and drowned themselves.” I am not really sure about that.
We had four pumpkins this year. The first one on the left Abbie painted when we went camping in September. The second one Abbie cut out all by herself. The mouth and nose are meant to be together. It makes it “Scary” Abbie says. The third is mine, I found a kit last year. It was pretty easy and I like the way it glows. And last but not least is Robert’s. I suggested to have the letters B-S-U, but Robert wanted to do much much more. His site has more pictures, robert.whitakerfamily.org. Not many trick-or-treaters this year. }: The weather was the best it has been as long as I can remember.
